When you’re writing, it’s hard to remember what you’re thinking and writing about when you’re done.
To help, we asked some of the most successful writers around to share their tips on writing.

You don’t need to go out of your way to write good prose.
For some writers, the process of writing has led them to a “better-than-average” writing grade, but the process is not as important as how you write it, according to another writer.
“It’s about not worrying about grammar, and it’s about writing like it’s your own,” she wrote.
“Focus on what you are saying, not what someone else is saying.”
